Psychiatric Nurse Practioner specializing in Medication Management and Psychotherapy.
My experience of 10 years in private practice enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychiatric and psychological care in the form of Psychotherapy. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a individualized care to individuals, families, and couples. I am not only a Psychiatric Nurse Practioner but I am also a Psychotherapist. I do not require those who do not seek psychotherapy to do so, as I also provide medication management. I also have 3 years experience in acute Psychiatric hospitals, including a Supervisor role.
My focus is to help individuals learn about themselves and the stressors they endure, whether it be chronic or daily. Stress as poised in the Stress Diatheses Model has tremendous links to becoming psychiatrically ill, and or psychologically overwhelmed. I help individuals become aware of their inner strengths. In doing so there is work to be done to find where that is and how to utilize it, even under the most difficult circumstances.
I achieve this by providing a safe space to be heard. This is a place where you can discuss anything, It is important to listen to your concerns, and customize your unique treatment plan.
I promise to be there for you on every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
I too as human as we all are, can genuinely understand life stressors and hardships. Considering life can be very difficult at times to say the least . I can provide more genuine care to those as I do understand much of what people face and go through in life.
I allow my patients to text message me anytime, day or night, including weekends or holidays. That is an easy way to communicate with me. As I may not be able to answer the phone right away I will get your message quickly.
Depression, Bipolar, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable 'emotions' that we can experience at some point in our lives.
Through (only if needed, medication management) Psychotherapy treatment, I am able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life. Even if it seems impossible during a state of illness.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.

Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with the individual who is the patient and at times the partner may participate.
Sometimes relationship issues can be difficult to discuss or discern with others or ourselves. Some relationships suffer infidelity, domestic violence. And sometimes it may be issues with communication.
Not all 'Relationships' have to do with a partner. Some of them are with friends, co-workers, family members etc. These can be addressed as well.
Information for New Patients at Psychiatric Healthcare, PLLC
Thank you for choosing care at this practice.
You will be seeing Morgan Neilon, PMHNP-BC if you choose to make an initial first patient appointment.
Insurance information and Billing
Most of the patients that I see have health insurance. That said, my practice is too small to process insurance claims. Considering that, what my current and past patients have always done is submit a claim form to their insurance company. After the appointment, the patient will get a special receipt with
two different codes on it, including the payment that is made. These codes are exactly what they need including proof of payment to the clinician, so that the “patient” is reimbursed a % based on their particular health plan. Most people get 80%- 100% covered and then are refunded with a check to them from the insurance company. The reason being is that it is much more cost effective for the insurance company than when someone sees a psychiatrist that charges often double what this practice does. That said, this can be explained further at anytime. Assistance with this will also be provided if need be.
Currently the email that is being used is morgan@psycnp.com
You can text me at (315) 572-0802 – this can be helpful for communication.
To explain further so that in the event this part of the practice is not something an individual can do, it is important to provide this information to each person desiring care at this practice.
Personally if someone needs help they should get that help, and deserve it.
